Located in Miami, an emerging marketplace for technology and entrepreneurship, STS is creating a new paradigm for the delivery of healthcare services by bringing together medical professionals and innovative technology in a Public Health approach to help reduce global health disparities in access to specialized care in remote areas.
STS has focused on addressing the time constraints for effectively managing acute ischemic stroke and trauma through telemedicine and videoconferencing, both in the prehospital and hospital settings.
